History
Today as never before, individuals have grown with a new social consciousness of unity, generosity, gratitude and compassion for one another. These were the reasons that brought us together, a group of Colombians living in Palm Beach County, FL, USA, with a common dream to give unconditional love and be of service to those less fortunate. We came from our beautiful country full of expectations looking for new opportunities which in one way or another have been granted to us. As an expression of our gratitude with life we have come together to join efforts and provide our neediest brothers with support and accompaniment and extend a new opportunity in life to them as well. Although, our organization’s name is Somos1colombia, we are ready to take on the challenge and extend our brotherhood well beyond any physical or cultural border. Furthermore we acknowledge that with our positive actions we are not only changing the lives of those that receive out token of aid and hope but our own lives as well. Our doors and hearts are always open for those willing to make a change in the life of others hands-on, new, active and honorary members, sponsors and partners whom identify with our mission are always welcomed.
